Vision Board Widget
A native iOS app I designed and built that puts your vision board on your home screen, with rotating widgets, curated templates and in-app purchases.
Overview
Vision Board Widget is my own iOS app, live on the App Store. It solves a simple problem: vision board apps hide your goals inside an app you forget to open. This one puts them on your home screen, the place you look dozens of times a day.
The challenge
Make visualization a habit without asking anyone to build one. The board had to show up on its own, stay fresh, and be quick to set up.
What I built
- Home screen widgets. Your board appears every time you unlock your phone, in customizable widget sizes.
- Smart rotation. Images cycle through the day so the widget never goes stale, with custom frequency for premium users.
- Boards by category. Career, health, relationships, travel, wealth and more.
- Many image sources. Photo library, Unsplash, web URLs, a share extension from any app, and Pinterest and Tumblr for premium users.
- Curated templates. Ready-made boards for wealth, fitness, travel and lifestyle to get started in seconds.
- Reminders and milestones. Daily nudges to keep momentum.

Outcome
A complete, monetized product taken from idea to App Store by one person, covering design, engineering, in-app purchases and release.
