Rodeo
A launch site and web app foundation for Rodeo, an app that helps people get better at getting together, built with React and Next.js.

Overview
Rodeo's promise is simple: get better at getting together. Before launch, it needed a front door that matched that playful, social energy and a technical foundation to grow the product on.
The challenge
Pre-launch sites have one job: make a first impression strong enough that people sign up to hear more. That means a bold brand moment and fast loads, on top of an architecture that won't need rewriting when the product ships.
What I built
- Server-side rendering. The Next.js App Router gives fast first loads and strong SEO.
- Component library. Modular, reusable components following atomic design principles.
- Performance first. Code splitting, image optimization and efficient rendering achieved 90+ Lighthouse scores.
- Responsive system. A fluid layout that feels native from phone to desktop.
Under the hood
- React with hooks and modern patterns
- Next.js for SSR and static generation
- CSS Modules for scoped styles with zero runtime cost
- Vercel for edge deployment and CI/CD
Outcome
A fast, polished launch experience and a codebase ready to grow into the full product.
