Marin Theatre
An expressive website for Marin Theatre that captures the energy of live performance while making it effortless to discover shows and buy tickets.

Overview
Marin Theatre's season is bold, colourful and a little irreverent. The website needed to feel the same, while still doing the practical work of selling tickets and answering visitor questions.
The challenge
Theatre sites serve two audiences at once: people who want to be excited by a show, and people who need to know where to park. Both need to get what they came for in a few clicks.
What I built
- Show discovery. Each production gets a rich presentation that sells the experience.
- Ticketing flow. A streamlined path from browsing to checkout.
- Event calendar. Date-based navigation for planning a night out.
- Visit information. Location, parking, accessibility and house policies, easy to find.
Design principles
- Visual storytelling. Imagery and type that capture the drama of the stage.
- Clear hierarchy. Calls to action that always point toward tickets.
- Accessibility first. Built to WCAG guidelines so everyone can join the audience.
- Performance. Fast loads that match the venue's reputation.
Outcome
A site that bridges digital discovery and the live experience, representing the theatre's artistic mission while driving ticket sales.
